Willi Michalski creates stoneware fired, one-off studio pieces. Special emphasis is given to the firing techniques and glaze finishes. Willi has researched gas reduction firing and glaze-on-glaze decoration over the past thirty years with resounding success. He has developed outstanding examples of traditional glazes as such as chun, celadon and copper reds, he also uses lustres in decoration techniques.
